Plant Operator

As a Plant Operator (Coal Plant), part of your role is to:

  • Operate Coal Handling Plant equipment including: Grab-type coal unloader (300 TPH capacity), Bulldozers (19 and 32 tons), Tire-type pay loaders (2.3 and 3.5 m³), Backhoe, Skid loaders, Dump trucks (10-ton capacity)
  • Ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all assigned equipment and machinery;
  • Perform routine equipment inspection, basic troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance checks;
  • Strictly follow company Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) policies and procedures, including LOTO/PTW and “Speak-Confirm-Execute” protocols;
  • Immediately report accidents, unsafe conditions, equipment defects, and environmental concerns to the immediate supervisor;
  • Support continuous plant operations while maintaining high standards of safety and operational efficiency.

What we are looking for:

  • Graduate of a Technical Vocational course with NCII TESDA certification;
  • With valid LTO Driver’s License with restriction codes 1, 2, 3, and 8;
  • Certified heavy equipment operator;
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience in operating heavy equipment such as dump trucks, pay loaders, bulldozers, and backhoes;
  • Knowledge or experience in grab-unloader operation is an advantage;
  • Basic knowledge of coal handling systems;
  • Knowledgeable in heavy equipment parts, functions, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance;
  • Familiar with plant hazards, safety requirements, and applicable operational codes and regulations;
  • Good verbal and written communication skills;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications is an advantage.
