Minergy Power Makes Waves at Balingasag Fiesta with Fluvial Parade Debut
Minergy Power Corporation (MPC) proudly took part in the 2025 Balingasag Fiesta, marking a significant milestone with its inaugural participation in the town’s iconic fluvial “sakay-sakay.” Held on January 25, 2025, the vibrant procession along Macajalar Bay brought together thousands of locals and visitors in honor of Señor Sto. Niño—celebrating both faith and local tradition.
This year’s fiesta held special meaning for MPC, as it expanded its involvement beyond logistical support and sponsorship. The company actively engaged in several major community activities throughout the month, underlining its growing presence and commitment to Balingasag’s cultural life. MPC supported the Family and Pet Fun Run on January 5, the Balingasag Star singing contest on January 16, and the Miss Balingasag pageant on January 17—events that celebrated wellness, creativity, and inclusivity.
MPC made its fluvial procession debut with a stunningly decorated boat carrying volunteer employees across Macajalar Bay. The float, filled with festive energy, was met with cheers from the shoreline as MPC representatives shared smiles and their heartfelt devotion to Señor Sto. Niño. The warm reception reflected the strong and growing relationship between MPC and the people of Balingasag.
The company also proudly joined the annual civic-military parade, a fiesta highlight showcasing unity and local pride. MPC employees marched in solidarity, proudly representing the company’s continued support for Balingasag’s traditions and collective spirit.
